By downloading the ClubRunner app on your phone, you will have important information at your fingertips.  The app includes information from District 5930, as well as Victoria Rotary Club info.  Need a member's name, email or phone number....no problem.  An updated member directory is part of the app...you can even make your call directly from the app. You can even get your attendance record.  If I have missed any of your makeups, you will know and can send me an email so that I can get it corrected.

You can get the ClubRunner app at the app store.  The first time you access it, you will need your user name and password.  Be in the know.  Lots of great information and all on your cellphone.

The elementary schools held their knighting ceremonies this week celebrating the virtue of confidence.  The kids get so excited about  seeing Sir Cass and Sir James.  Of course, we also felt lucky to have them visit our Club in their armor.

The Victoria Rotary Club is planning the 21st Annual Jack Whitmire Annual Charity Clay Shoot on April 28 and 29.  In addition to being a beautiful outing at the Beck Ranch on Salem Road, it is also the Club’s primary fundraiser for the year.  Monies generated at the Clay Shoot will be used to fund grant programs for non-profit organizations.  Last year’s Clay Shoot resulted in $14000 that has been extended to ten organizations.

This year’s program will start on Saturday with registration, practice rounds and a evening steak dinner, as well as a calcutta and a live/silent auction.  Teams of five will shoot 100 clays on Sunday. There will also be flurries and awards.

Before you know it, Clay Shoot will be here.  The shoot is scheduled for April 28 and 29 and will take place at the Beck Ranch.  This is our primary fundraiser and it is important that we have everyone's participation.  We are looking for sponsors, as well as donations for the auction on Saturday night...the monies raised by the auction help to fund over $15000 in grants for non-profits in the community.   If you need more information, please visit the website at www.clayshoot.victoriarotary.org or talk to Bob Bailey.
