Defibrillators preasented to City

The Victoria Rotary Club was thrilled to present the City of Victoria with three portable automated external defibrillators with oxygen tanks to be placed at the Victoria Police Department (VPD) Shooting Range, VPD Mobile Command Unit, and Riverside Park. This project was the brainchild of Rotarian Dr. Bruce Bauknight, who trained members on how and when to use an AED, and was funded in part by a District 5930 Grant written by Club President Sara Hounshell Meinhart. Special thanks go out to Rotarian/ VPD Chief  JJ Craig, Parks & Rec Director Colby Van Gundy, City Manager Charmelle Garrett, and Mayor Paul Polasek for working with us on this project.
