Victoria Rotary Club
PolioPlus Challenge Stamp Sales
The Victoria Rotary Club is making Stamp Out Polio stamps available for District and national clubs to supplement their PolioPlus fundraising efforts. Clubs and individuals ordering 30 or more sheets have a donation given to the Rotary Foundation in their names--$100 for the first 30 sheets and $3.33 for each sheet over 30. Many small sales will make this a success. Clubs should recoup their investment from the sale of stamps to their members and the only effect on club finances is a short-term reduction in its bank account. Clubs that find a market for the stamps can earn one Paul Harris Fellow for each 300 sheets of stamps sold. This is an easy way to supplement any planned PolioPlus fundraising plans. These stamps may be used for postage and will benefit both Rotary International and your Rotary club in many ways:
Please order a few of the $10 sheets (10 stamps per sheet) to help support final polio eradication and the promote the Rotary Foundation End Polio now grant challenge. We encourage clubs to use this as a part of their challenge grant fundraising. Order a sheet and check them out.

Purchase
of these stamps helps the Rotary Foundation meet the Gates Foundation challenge
to raise funds to End Polio Now. Get $13 in value for each $10 sheet of
10 first-class stamps that you buy. Where did that come from? Simply, $4.40
postage + $1.60 tax benefit (this is a charitable donation) + $3.50 donation to
Rotary Foundation + $3.50 from Gates Foundation = $13.
