The Salvation Army Red Kettles have been an American tradition since 1891, helping raise financial support for critical Salvation Army programs and services year round.
Captain Mark Martin is looking for volunteers for the four Saturdays, Nov. 29, Dec. 6, Dec. 13, and Dec. 20 at the Post Office at 2804 Sam Houston Dr. We will be manning the Red Kettle and Ringing the Bell for three hours on those dates. Please consider giving an hour of your time to help us provide services for others.
Over the years, the Red Kettle Campaign has grown into one of the most recognizable and important charitable campaigns in the United States – providing toys for kids, coats for the homeless, food for the hungry and countless social service programs year-round. You become a vital part of our Christmas efforts when you help those in need by volunteering an hour of your time.
How to sign-up -- Select the date you want to volunteer from the list to the left under Upcoming Events. On the next screen - click on the Volunteer button. Log into the website (ClubRunner) > It will show the available shifts and times for that day > Click the signup button > Fill in your name  and click the save button. Need help logging onto the website to sign up - call Linda or Nancy Paulson (new website assistant) at 361-729-1180.
